What does the subscription include?

Unlimited access to a library of pre-recorded video Pilates classes awaits you. Each workout is guided by Paola, who will provide clear instructions on proper breathing and correct form while creating a strong mind-body connection.

The platform is accessible on desktop and mobile. We have also launched a mobile app, allowing you to enjoy your practice anytime and anywhere you prefer. Even offline.

You will also have access to the Weekly Program, a selection of seven workout videos handpicked by Paola. These classes are curated to ensure you have a balanced and fulfilling week.

Feel free to use it as a guide or add your own favourite workouts.

Every Monday, a new class will be added to the library.

What does the library contain?

The Library contains a diverse range of Pilates and Stretching & Mobility classes.

The Pilates workouts are categorised into different levels of intensity:

The gentle classes are designed to help you become more connected and aware of your body and muscles.

The satisfying classes help you progress in your practice and give you a satisfying feeling afterwards. The challenging classes challenge you to explore your flexibility & mobility and take your practice to the next level.

You can select classes by the duration of time: all workouts range from 10 to 60 minutes so you can always find a session that suits your schedule.

Or you can filter workouts by body part focus. This way, you can create your own playlist of favourite workouts. Don't forget that every Monday a new class will be ready for you to try out.

If you're looking for some guidance, have a look at the Weekly Program.

The weekly Program is a selection of classes curated to help you create a well-rounded and balanced weekly exercise routine. You can simply follow the suggested order of the classes or add your own favourites.

Platform & App

What is the Paola Pilates app?

The Paola Pilates app is the newest feature available for Paola Pilates members. In the app you can find all classes, allowing you to work out anywhere, anytime, even without an internet connection. The app features user-friendly navigation, making it simple to find and save your favourite workouts. Follow along with the Weekly Program or schedule your own workouts for the coming weeks. Both English and Italian classes are available in the app. We believe the app is a great addition to help you achieve your Pilates goals.

How can I download the Paola Pilates app?

The app allows you to easily access all the classes wherever you are. Search for Paola Pilates in your app store and download the app. Already a member? Log in with your current credentials. If you're new to the platform, you can sign up here.

What is the difference between the app and the web browser platform?

You can enjoy the Paola Pilates classes on the web browser platform, or on the app. No matter how you choose to access Paola Pilates, you can use the same login credentials and you'll see all the classes and programs available. However, there are some key differences between the web browser and mobile app experiences, outlined below:

  • Video downloads are exclusive to the mobile app.

  • Custom calendar and class scheduling are only available via the mobile app.

  • Creating personalized playlists is only available via the mobile app.

  • Offline access to downloaded content is available solely through the mobile app.

Are there more classes available in the app?

No, you'll find the same content on the app as on the website. The app simply helps you work out wherever you are, even without internet. You'll have all the classes at your fingertips no matter what! Download the app for a more convenient and flexible Pilates experience.

Who can use the app?

Anyone who has a Paola Pilates account can log in to the app. If you don't have a subscription yet, you can start a free trial now. As soon as you receive confirmation, you can download the app in your app store and use your credentials to log in.

How do I download a video to watch it offline?

Video downloads are available only through the Paola Pilates app. You can do so by clicking the Download button beneath the video. To watch the video go to My Playlists and click Downloads.
Unfortunately, video downloads are not available via web browser.

How can I make sure my payments are going directly to Paola Pilates?

The best way to ensure this is to create your account via the website. This way your subscription costs directly contribute to Paola Pilates and the creation of more amazing content. You’ll receive your credentials per email and you can login on the website or download the app and access the classes from there.
We would discourage anyone from creating an account through the app first because that’s when your subscription costs are split with Apple or Google.
Please note that this doesn't affect how and where you use the app, only where your money is going. However you've created your account, you can always enjoy Paola Pilates on all your devices.

About Pilates and the equipment

Can anyone do pilates?

Absolutely! The library offers many beginner friendly classes.

All the Gentle Classes are beginner friendly and a great place to start. Feel free to modify or skip any exercise that feels to intense for you. The most important thing is to listen to your body and go at your own pace.

Once you have learned the techniques and feel comfortable with the Gentle Classes you can slowly try out some of the Satisfying Classes and move your way up to a Challenging Class.

Paola's method focuses on mindful movement and body awareness, making it a low-impact workout, ideal for when you're just starting out and need to be gentle on your body.

I’m new here, where do I begin?

Have a look at this guide full of practical information and tips before you start. The Weekly Program is perfect for anyone new to the platform. This program, curated by Paola herself, lets you explore different classes with a different focus each day.

Don't forget to save the workouts you like best so you can find them later at any time.

Find out what feels good for your body by trying out the different intensity categories (Gentle, Satisfying, and Challenging).

Feeling ready to explore some more? Try a Yogalates class or a miniball workout to discover what suits your practice.

Is pilates safe during pregnancy?

At the moment, the library doesn’t include specific prenatal classes, however, it does include postpartum friendly workouts. The Gentle Classes are perfect for the first trimester of pregnancy and for the postpartum period.

Soon, the platform will include more workouts for the other trimesters of pregnancy as well.

Still, we recommend talking to your doctor before starting your pregnancy workouts and postnatal pilates.

What equipment do I need to get started?

A Pilates workout starts with a mat.

If you're ready to enhance your practise, a miniball should be the next item on your list. We recommend to inflate the miniball (with a diameter of 20-26 cm and hollow inside), only by 90%, leaving it slightly loose and soft.

Rigid ankle weights are a good investment as well. They can be used around the ankles or wrists and help you engage your muscles during your practise. Find the classes designed for weights and other props in the "Miniball & Weights" collection. More video's are coming soon!

If you're up for a challenge you could include loop bands, yoga blocks for the stretching exercises, a pillow for comfort, or a bolster as well. For more practical tips have a look at this guide.

What type of mat do I need?

It’s best to use a yoga mat that offers good grip and stability.

The mat should be at least 5 mm thick or you could stack two mats on top of each other. As long as the surface is stable, flat and you have a good grip, you are ready to begin.

What should I wear?

Comfort is key.

Especially when using the miniball, make sure to wear stretchy pants or leggings to prevent the ball from slipping away.

Playback and Videos

What equipment do you recommend to watch the classes?

We suggest you use a big screen so you can see the movements clearly but any device, even your mobile, will allow you to follow the classes.

Best results come from connecting your device to a TV via AirPlay, Chromecast, an hdmi cable or Apple TV. Make sure to watch in high definition (you can turn on this feature in the video).

What do I need to start watching?

A stable Internet connection and an updated browser, preferably Chrome, Firefox or Safari.

If you have issues with the playback, we suggest you change your device, perhaps from your smartphone to your laptop. You can also watch the on-demand classes on Chromecast and Airplay.

How do I use Paola Pilates on my phone or tablet without using an app?
